Course 302:  Contracts and Closing

The Contracts and Closing Course is one of three 30-classroom hour mandatory postlicensing courses that must be completed by newly licensed North Carolina provisional brokers within three years of licensure.  The primary objective of the course is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in prelicensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance to licensees. Topics addressed in this course include selected basic contract law concepts, real estate sales contracts preparation, sales contract procedures, closing procedures and closing statement preparation,  and real estate license status and education issues.  Of the 30 classroom hours, 3 hours will be allocated to the final exam.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:  If you are unable to attend your scheduled course at the Pro Realty Complex, we will be happy to move you to any future course within 12 months.  Please call us at 866.330.3675 to reschedule your course.  WE CAN NOT REFUND YOUR CLASS FEE ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE COURSE (SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS).

INSTRUCTOR:  George R Boren is the instructor for all courses, unless otherwise stated.  George is a licensed broker in both North & South Carolina.  With almost 15 years residential experience, George’s experiences in brokerage make the learning process real.  George is also a North & South Carolina State-Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser.  As the owner and principal broker of Century 21 Pro Realty in Whiteville North Carolina, the teaching techniques used by George employ a “realistic” approach to an otherwise “textbook” experience. 

COURSE CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING:  At the discretion of the instructor, the start of scheduled courses may be postponed.  Should the class be postponed for more than 4 weeks, or should the actual days & times of classes be other than that advertised, the student shall be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid for that course.
